Awesome!! I'm relieved because I put a lot of effort into this and it seems to pay off :) (Points don't tell everything as we know! ;))
Congratz to all the winners, I had a great time and this was an experience I would not trade off!

So, my home theatre hardware consists of seven (7) devices which are: a full-sized computer, LCD-TV, two Speakers, a subwoofer, an A/V Receiver, a Playstation 3.
What it has to do with Esprimo Q1510? Well, Q1510 could make that list smaller. In theory, I could get rid of my PC and PS3 (for blu-ray purposes) if I had to make more space to my living room. I would lose some performance and the PS3 games but otherwise it would be just fine.
I like the integrated solutions because they're usually doing the same thing with less money and space. There are exceptions of course but in general I'd say it's true.

How to keep winning awards like this in the future?
I'd say Esprimo -series should be focused to two or three things only, not for every possible purpose.
Where to focus then? In my opinion:
1. First experience, make it as easy as possible, so that anyone afraid of "computers" doesn't get freaked out during the install phase. Put in all the necessary cables, make the install UI easy to use
2.Media consumption added with News and Blogs. Write a blog guide, where to find blogs, what are the most popular ones at the moment, how-to use RSS and that basic stuff. It already got a Blu-ray device and enough storage, but that is just technical stuff, it lacks the usability
3. Lightweight gaming. I'm sure the main target group for Esprimo series ain't probably hardcore gamers, but I'm sure they'd like to play SOMETHING, and if there was like a partnership with Steam (or some indie game provider) it would be much easier to find those games and get into the world of gaming in a living room.
That was my two cents for the future :)
more
A suggestion for Fujitsu considering the future generations of Esprimo-series:
1. Gather a group of fanatic sports bloggers
2. Wait till there is an event worth reporting
3. Let them test the device and provide supporting software & partnerships for their use (like a HD-channel package for Internet-TV)
4. Let them all keep the device afterwards (no point war)
5. See how the buzz keeps coming

Some thought about this blog:
This has been a great adventure to the world of living room PCs. I can't imagine a better way to get information about a device than giving it to hands of bunch of motivated bloggers and let them do their job. This time the point war made it a bit dull but anyway I like this concept very much.
I've learnt so much about Q1510 not only because I used it myself but because all the active people here who took the time and effort and posted stuff sometimes even quality stuff here.
I've received lots of feedback and questions in and out of Internet from interested people, and I'm sure that they will at least consider Esprimo Q1510 when thinking of upgrading their living rooms. Even I didn't know anything about Fujitsu products before this so that may be the first foot step for Fujitsu in Finland.
Thanks for the insiders and people behind this blog!
more
And finally, I'll send Little E to Fujitsu Hospital so that the Blu-ray drive gets fixed! I hope they fix it without bandages as seen in this picture :)
more
Then I'll introduce him to my ceramic bunny which I made when I was like five years old

I wonder if Fujitsu plans to bring custom design as an extra service for customers?
I could imagine getting my own personalized cover if I was a customer interested in living room PC's and that would definitely be a factor that matters when choosing the supplier.
We're living the time that embraces individuals, everyone wants to be different and special in their own way :) So it makes sense doesn't it?
I mean there is a small collection to choose from, but it ain't enough in my opinion.
What do you think, insiders?

Currently I'm playing all the sports game using my Playstation 3 but if there was a sufficient graphics card inside Esprimo Q1510 I could imagine some people changing their minds and not choosing the gaming console over a living room PC.
Many of my friends use PS3 only for sports games like FIFA and NHL. And as PS3 costs more than 300 euros, that may be a hollow reason to buy one for only few games.
Living room is after all, a classic place to play games with your friends!
more
Then I'm going to watch Football with it.

After that he will get keys to my home, as a welcome gift

I'd like to review the often mentioned size-factor, and how it affects various things.
As you can see from the picture, a normal sized PC -case may look good and work very well as a living room PC. So in this situation, the smallness ain't necessarily an advantage.
When considered smallness as an advantage, there are few factors that make it an advantage.
1. Limited space in the location you're putting it
2. A small screen, it would look funny to have an enormous PC-case next to 24" TV
3. A need to move the device often between home/work for example
Even if I got to keep the device, I'm going to continue using my current PC for the same purpose as it's faster and got more storage. But in my case, those three factors are not decisive.

Finland is not a good place to be if you want to use your computer as a TV. We have only few sources that offer quality material on the Internet, and all of them are the bigger TV-channels.
By quality material, I mean videos that have enough resolution to look good on my 40" screen. That doesn't mean they're showing good TV-series or movies through Internet.
That leaves me with a choice to download them from the Internet or buy expensive DVDs which is not an option for a student. Hopefully there will be a service provider that offers subscription based TV&Movie service so that I could fully enjoy my digital living room!
more
I've stopped posting blog posts as they take tenfolds of time and all you got is one point. That serves me in this point war but it definitely don't serve my readers who might be the potential customers after this project.
If this thing would start over, I would choose just ten guys and give the esprimo to all of them in the end, but there should be a minimum of two or three blog posts per week to really courage people to write. I'd say the quality of those posts would not be comparable to these posts seen on this blog. I'm sorry to say that, but that's the way it is in my opinion.
I appreciate those who has really shown the effort to write quality material, respect to you guys (and gals if there are any!)

I like the fact that there are various of choices to connect Esprimo to almost every possible home cinema device.
I also like the new Windows 7 so that's my second plus :) I don't know if there are many choices but that's a valid point when compared to Apple Mac Mini (OS X).
Design is a bit dull but it can be avoided by changing the top cover which is a nice addition.
Overall the Q1510 is quite balanced package.

Today I'm watching The World Cup at my school, Proacademy, Tampere. We set up the public TV so that we can watch the game between The Netherlands and Denmark. I have a football guru sitting next to me who makes reports for a local newspaper so I think I'll get a good amount of analyzing during the game :)
There's some other miniPC connected to the TV so I think this kind of semi-public TV's would be one target group for Esprimo Q1510 also.
It's time for national anthems and kick-off!
more
I'd like to thank your development team for amazing work on answering almost all of the questions asked!
However one was still missing, I asked about carrying bag solutions, if there are any. The Q1510 fits in every backpack but it will definitely need some padding to prevent any unintended damage. I could imagine carrying this kind of device to our summer house for example, but it's always a risk to transport computers.
Are you planning to bring any solutions for customers anytime soon or is there a solution already?
more
I'm sure the Intel i3 is the best available processor for the Esprimo Q1510. I surely know how annoying it is to use a device which lacks the performance designed for the use of it. For example if you would see any kind of throttling while watching FullHD materials, I'd say the device ain't working like its meant to work.
As you can see from the stats, it beats the alternatives clearly and is therefore also cost-effective choice compared to i5 for example, plus the noise caused by cooling will be much lower with i3.
more
My personal experience during these weeks has shown that the Esprimo Q1510 has drawn the most attention in the category of middle aged and well educated men like my father for example. They're usually interested in home electronics and have the income to afford this kind of device.
My father ain't using computers for anything but work and paying bills but Esprimo opens up a new world for him as the computer is directly connected to TV, which is much more familiar way of consuming entertainment and news than Internet is for me.
So the award is well deserved!

Another solution could a program, AutoUpdate software where Fujitsu could add RSS feeds for different programs that are willing to let Fujitsu computer users to download their latest software. That way there could be a variety of choices for every user.
A program like that is already available for drivers but not for other freeware software yet. I wonder who could code that for me :) I'd love it!

-All the latest drivers
-VLC player for videos

So, I installed the Civilization IV + Warlods + Beyond The Sword add-ons and then tried to start the game.
When starting the game, Windows says something about changing theme from Aero to Windows Basic so that the would game works correctly.
Secondly, an error message pops up and the process is terminated. No Civilization IV for me then!
I'm not quite sure what caused the error but maybe it has something to do with the Intel graphics chip?

And now I tried with a DVD-movie also, no difference. I'd like to receive a solution ASAP because this is quite frustrating!

I'm going to make a little gaming test today, gonna install Civilization IV and try how it runs on Esprimo. Report coming in later today.

1. Civilization series
2. Heroes of Might and Magic series
3. Settlers series
4. All the flash games
So there are plenty of choices for gamers also :)

I agree Smedja, I noticed the same when I was taking pictures and had to clean the dust first.
I have a technical problem:
Esprimo is connected to TV with HDMI-cable. I've resolution set to 1920x1080 but the desktop doesn't fit into the monitor. I've to scale it using Intel software but it isn't as clear as without scaling.
I installed the video drivers from the CD provided in the package but it didn't change it at all. Any suggestions?
more
First of all, I would add an option to buy all the cables and adapters needed, to ensure full connectivity, while ordering / buying Esprimo Q1510. I realized that I had to get my own HDMI & RJ45 cables to get it connected properly.
Secondly, it would be real nice if the Esprimo had a laptop -like bag where you could pack it neatly for transportation needs.
Thirdly, I would negotiate a game pack for Esprimo-series with some digital game supplier like Steam. You could give like 3 (free of choice) games within the package that are selected beforehand so that they would run smoothly enough with the device.
Question:
Would it be possible to use Esprimo as an external hard drive for a digibox with USB?
